As of recent there have been some changes to Verve’s schedule regarding the trainers. We are confident everyone knows that we lost a full time trainer to her new journey of being a fire fighter. Along with Anna no longer being on the schedule, Eric and I have also shifted to coaching fewer hours throughout the week. You may have noticed these changes. Verve has spent the better part of the last few years working to build Verve’s part time training staff. We are so excited about these amazing individuals and the work they have put in, which is why we want to give them the opportunity to use these skills. The only way to be a better coach is to coach. They need reps in cueing and correcting the way an athlete needs snatch reps to refine their technique.

You may already know some of the people we are talking about, in fact you may have already been taking their classes. A few of these individuals have been on Verve’s schedule coaching for months now, but there are a few that are just getting started. Jen Kates, Melissa Liskowski, and Danielle Dangoia hit the ground running a bit ago. Following these fine ladies came Amelia Dwyer and Carrie Stark. And within the last few weeks we now have Lisa Lefkowitz and Mike Cain. If you have not taken their classes, we hope you at least know them from being in your classes. Verve has always enjoyed finding it’s trainers from within its own walls. 

These folks care about you. Trust us. They put in the work, on their free time, with no compensation, to be in the role they are now. They are not perfect. They do not know everything. But they absolutely care about you. They care enough to continue to work on their coaching skills. They know this is the start of their journey, we hope you enjoy the ride along with them.

What are Eric and I doing? Being giant creepers. We are around, working and watching. We are taking in all the things at Verve and working to make it better. We will be evaluating our coaches to continue to make them better. While you may not see our names on the schedule, you will see our faces. Personally I would like to take this opportunity to join some classes and hang out with you folks in a different capacity.

Again, we are so excited about the new help at Verve. These folks all bring their own personalities and enthusiasm to Verve, so we hope you are excited too!
